He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Simendinger and Leona C. Simendinger (Nichols); and his siblings, William, Elaine Barkey and Carol Brandl.

He is survived by: his wife June Rose (Hetra); his sons, William Andrew (Sabrina) and Francis Edward (Shannon); his grandchildren, Jessica, Mercedes, Portia and Gage; his great grandchildren, Esme and Aurora; and his brother-in-law Andrew Hetra. He is also survived by nieces and nephews along with their children and grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall (2885 Hann Hill Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148).
