He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Bickel and Helen Bickel (McCallum). He is survived by: his children, Karen Shipton of Grove City, Amy Van Dyke (Troy) of Harrisville, Terry Lynn Bickel, Lori Bickel and Stacy Bickel; and his siblings, Ruth Baer, Margaret Snyder, Harold Bickel and John Bickel.
