He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Alger and Virginia Alger (Thompson); his daughters, Jennifer Davis (Robert) of Greenville and Amanda Alger of Hermitage; his grandchildren, Robert II, James and Zephaniah Davis of Greenville; and his siblings, Matthew Alger, Theresa Hailey, Debra Mock (James) and Laura Alger (Larry).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene (520 N Center St, Grove City, PA 16127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
His final act of kindness for others was organ donation, which has already helped others in need.
