He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria F. Smith; his parents, Amos D. Smith and Evelyn J. Smith; and his siblings, Robert A. Smith and Linda L. Packard.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Smith-Gordon (Rick) of Canfield, Ohio and Steven Smith (Sharon) of Plattsburgh; his grandchildren, Danielle Brosan (Michael) of Berryville, Virginia, Jake Smith, Amanda McClatchie (Evan) and Meghan Peneston (Jack); his great grandchild Levi McClatchie; his sister Carol Wilson of New Mexico; and his nieces, Jennifer Packard and Joy Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to Hospice of Crawford County or The ANNA Shelter, in recognition of the compassionate care and companionship that meant so much during his final days.
