She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Pilling and Mary Louise Kerwin Pilling. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Devin, Ross Tyson, Ronan and Maeve Viola; her significant other Anna Hults Harmar; her children, Allison F. Viola and Joseph G. Tyson; her siblings, John F. Pilling, J. Ross Pilling, Isabel E. Pilling and Margaret Pilling Rux; and her stepmother Constance E. Pilling.
