He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Edna Evelyn Schroer, Jr.; and his wife Shirley R. Ibbs. He is survived by: his children, Jon Schroer (Vicki) of Kennedyville, MD, Lori Sindlinger (Michael), Hadley, Vicki Mitchell (Timothy) of Byesville, OH and Tracie Aitken (Scott); and his siblings, Janis Friend of Pinellas, FL and Robert W. Schroer. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
