She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Altland and Harold Altland; her husband Paul R. Schaeffer (Dick); her brother John H. Altland; and her children-in-law, Michael Ranck and MaryBeth Schaeffer.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Ranck of Deer Lake and Lahn Schaeffer of Halifax; and her brothers, Bruce Altland (Delphine) of Shoemakersville and Larry Altland (Sandra) of Millersburg. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
