With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy C. Hoover of Halifax, Pennsylvania. Nancy, born on April 5, 1941, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. Hoover; her parents, Joseph Allen and Jessie Sarah Kitchen Sr. (Bordner); her siblings, Donna and Leon Kitchen; her stepgranddaughter Melissa Hoover; and her daughter-in-law Rose Miller (Mace).

She is survived by: her siblings, Faye Yeager and Allen Kitchen Jr.; her stepson Rodney Hoover; her children, Jay H. Miller Jr., Kevin L. Hoover, Brenda Strohecker and Karen Miller; her grandchildren, Sonya Long (Miller), Rodney Hoover, Shane Miller, Taylor Matter and Tanya Shappell (Strohecker); her great grandchildren, Stephanie Long, Austin, Blake Hoover, Levi, Brianna Matter, Isabella Snyder, Jayden, Jianna, Jaxon Shiffer and Harper Shappell; and her great great grandchild Hannah Rose Wilson.
