We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 85, Dorothy Ann Carter of Hallstead, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Coy and Elizabeth Coy; her husband Ross Carter; her brothers, Robert Coy of Montrose, PA and Richard Coy of Montrose, PA; and her son-in-law George Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Penny, Musto, Tony Carter (Josie), Pam Marks (Ed), Joy Ross, Scott Carter (Stephanie) and Sally Shelp (Steve). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to Franklin Forks Methodist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
