He was predeceased by: his brother John "Jay" Whittenberg, Jr.; and his father John Whittenberg, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Abigail Rounds, Jakob, WayLynn, Rebel and Camri; his mother Virginia Whittenberg; his siblings, Bobby Tompkins (Deb), Davey Tompkins (Shar), Amy Tompkins, Johnny Peters and Jamie Peters; and his stepsiblings, Charity Trumbore (Andrew), Ivy Rubin, Christina Bartlow, Jesse Tompkins and Dustin Tompkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a multitude of friends.
