He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Hafer Smith and William "Bill" Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Rai Suon and Paul McGowan. He is survived by: his son Kevin James Smith; his wife Shirley Osborne; his daughter Shannon Lindridge (Stephen); his grandsons, Isaac Lindridge and Oren Lindridge; his sister Vernita Suon (Smith); his sibling's children, Greg Suon (Sherry), David Suon (Lori), Christopher Suon (Leann) and Debbie Davidson (Belinda); his siblings-in-law, Richard Osborne (Cindy), Harry Osborne (Linda), Gary Osborne (Linda), Sandy Varsik (Joe) and Sue McGowan; and his close friend Kaylee Sue Walker.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin Hill Church (400 Franklin Hill Rd, Hallstead, PA 18822).
