It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Mark Reed of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Christopher farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Christopher is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Steve, Bonnie Vandevender, Arthur, Catherine Reed and Lamar Schaeffer.
He is survived by: his parents, Mark Allen and Mary Lee Reed (Vandevender); his brother Gregory Allen Reed (Jennifer Davies); his niece Piper Elizabeth Reed of Kutztown; and his grandmother Betty Schaeffer. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Orwigsburg Veterans Memorial Hall (300 Grove St, Orwigsburg, PA 17961).
