He was predeceased by : his parents, George R. J. and Lillian Bowers (Rau-Auchey); his siblings, Esther Kauffman, Mildred Shappell, Verna Rauch, Ruth Berg, Shirley Geiger, Betty, Arlan Bowers, Leon Bowers and Warren Bowers; and his son Timothy C. Bowers.
He is survived by : his spouse Jean M. Bowers (Berkheiser); and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to Union Fire Company No. 1, P.O. Box 255, Hamburg, PA 19526, as he was still fighting fires in his mind, with his nephew Jeffrey, up until his final breath.
