Gladys M. LeVan Obituary

We announce the death of Gladys M. LeVan (Hamburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 98. Gladys will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gladys will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Gladys will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Gladys’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stuart H. LeVan; her parents, Earl Dunkelberger and Pearl Dunkelberger (Gerber); and her siblings, Charles Dunkelberger, Elaine Crook, Amy Jurasinski, Doris Shappell and Dorothy Griesemer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Leesport Cemetery.
