He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna S. Dietrich (Knittle) and John T. Dietrich Propane; his wife Barbara J. Dietrich (Stern); and his brothers, Ralph Dietrich and Richard Dietrich.
He is survived by: his children, Mark A. Dietrich Dietrich (Lori C. (Romig)), Donna M. Rabert (Glenn M. Cordick), Theresa A. Carter (Timothy A. Carter) of Rome, PA and John E. Dietrich, Jr. Dietrich (Jennifer R. (Snyder)); his grandchildren, Danielle (Jimmy), Alyssa (Josh), Andrew (Sarah), Aaron (Brianna), Alex, MacKenzie, Jared, Christopher (Kaleigh), Talan and Kassandra; his great grandchildren, Eloise, Brooklynne, Sam, Chase, Ruby and Andrew; and his siblings, Kenneth Dietrich and Linda Schmeer (Roy Schmeer).
