It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Randall Mengel of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Mengel and Ruth C. Mengel (Fahnauer); and his sister Rachelle L. Shollenberger (Mengel). He is survived by: his wife Lori J. Mengel (Schatzenbach); his children, Melissa L. Mengel (Adam J. Rogers) of Quincy, MA, Nathan P. Mengel and Justin T. Mengel (Thomas R.); his grandchildren, Reece and Hudson Mengel; his brother Rafe C. Mengel (Mary Ann); and his brother-in-law Dean L. Shollenberger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc. (65 S Fourth St, Hamburg, PA 19526). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
