He is survived by: his children, Rick R. Ernst (Tara L. (Parzanese)) and Terri L. Smith (Ernst); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin (Kira), Joseph, Ashley and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Maya, Carson, Marissa, Jamison and Carter; and his siblings, Harold Ernst, Arizona and Jennie Elaqua (Ernst).
