He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene J. Durkin and Mary W. McKeon Durkin; his nephew Michael Durkin Jr.; and his brother-in-law Andy Boandl. He is survived by: his fiancée Lisa of Moscow; his children, Nicholas Griffin of Lake Ariel, Billie Jean Durkin (Chandler Todd) of Carolina Beach, NC, Eugene James Durkin of Hamlin and Travis Durkin of Hamlin; his granddaughters, Avery Griffin and Tatum Todd; his aunt Margie Williams (Rich) of Sterling; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Boandl of Hamlin, Vivian Heflin (Daniel) of Maplewood, Gloria Durkin of Maplewood, Michael Durkin (Debbie) of Lake Ariel and Steven Durkin (Karen) of Pottsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
