He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gliddon. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Eckerd Clews; his sons, Dennis Gliddon of Wilkes-Barre and James Patts of Wilkes-Barre; his stepparents, Lawrence Clews and Theresa Hoover; his siblings, Brenda Ungureit (Chris), Lisa Vanderhoff, Michelle Dugan (Rob), Richard Gliddon, Michael Hoover and Jeffrey Hoover; and his close friends, Wayne and Mike. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
