He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jayne and Marjorie Jayne; and his wife Catherine Roughsedge-Jayne. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine May (William) of Hanover Township and Patricia Giovinazzo (Francis) of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Casey, Alexis, Jamie, Anthony, Billy, Brooklyn and Emily; his great grandchildren, Raegan, Rylan, Oliver, Greyson, Kyran, Tegan and Bodhi; and his brother Sam Jayne (Vivian) of Dallas, PA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Welsh Bethel Baptist Church (290 Parrish St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Welsh Bethel Baptist Church.
