It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Steinmeier of Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Almer Steinmeier and Margaret Steinmeier (Magee); and his siblings, Carolyn Kerlin and Alan Steinmeier. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jane Steinmeier (Slothour); his children, Diana Shearer (Jeffrey) of Palmyra, Donald Steinmeier (Karen) of Camp Hill and David Steinmeier (Anita) of Harrisburg; and his siblings, Bob Steinmeier of Harrisburg, Dick Steinmeier of Florida, Tom Steinmeier of Harrisburg, Jim Steinmeier of Dillsburg, Wayne Steinmeier of Harrisburg, Gayle Mcgonnel of Grantville, Peggy Berry of Halifax and Kathy Livingston of Harrisburg.
