He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Glushefski and Helen Klosinski Glushefski; and his brother Phillip Glushefski. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kovaleski; his children, Karen Alberola (Joseph), Susan Konetski, Ashley and John J. Glushefski; his grandchildren, Amanda Alberola Frank (Michael), Michael Konetski (Jessica), Ryan Konetski (Amy), Jeffrey Konetski (Kelly), Kyle Konetski (Mary Kate Keating) and Scott Glushefski (Summer Vanderhoff); his great grandchildren, Caegan, Addler Konetski, Morrigan, Avelyn Konetski, Porter, Trace and Remi Glushefski; and his grandpuppy John (Joan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired may be made in John's memory to Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, 420 Main Rd., Hanover Twp., Pa 18706, The Luzerne County SPCA, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
