She was predeceased by: her parents, Benedict Yatko and Florence Brekoski Yatko; and her brother Andrew Yatko. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Ropietski; her daughter Jennifer Cardamone (Gary); her granddaughters, Kaitlyn Cardamone and Ava Cardamone; and her siblings, Benedict Yatko (Deborah) and Barbara Mazonkey (Bob). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
