He is survived by: his fiancée Dorothy Zakrzewski; his daughter Mary Jane McElligott; and his stepsiblings, Claire Deats, Catherine Deats, Elene Honeywell, Theresa Williams and Patrick Deats. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
