He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde R. Laughman and Miriam Laughman; his son Brian J. Laughman (Ingrid); his granddaughter Brianna G. Haro; and his brothers, Phil Laughman (Lisa) and Steve Laughman (Lynne).
He is survived by: his wife Sue E. Laughman; his children, Melissa Haro and Kevin Laughman (Deborah); his grandchildren, Brittany Felix (Leonel), David Haro (Mariam) and Joseph Egusquiza (Alex); and his siblings, Lanny Laughman (Jean), Edie Staub (Greg) and Laurie Williams (Dodd). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
