We announce the death of Bertha Jane Berwager of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 98. Bertha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Levi and Grace Viola Runk (Rinehart); and her husband Woodrow T. Berwager. She is survived by: her children, Christina G. Berwager of Hanover, PA, Woodrow S. Berwager (Pam) of Glenville, PA, Randy G. Berwager (Joanne) of Hanover, PA and Linda L. Chronister (Carl) of Hanover, PA; her grandsons, Brant Berwager, Bryan Berwager, Brooks Berwager, Brock Berwager (Angie), Brett Berwager (Heather), Sheldon Chronister (Jennifer) and Scott Chronister (Deanna); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Nolan, Noah, Nash, Ella, Eli, Emmye, Easton Chronister, Bria, Branson, Brandon, Ava, Brylee, Braiden, Brexton and Bruce Berwager.
