Bonita L. Groft Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonita L. Groft of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bonita has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Meckley and Geraldine Meckley (Laughman). She is survived by: her husband Barry E. Groft; her children, Joseph A. Curtis (Lyndsey D'Ambrosia) of Lemoyne, PA and Jessica L. Daugherty (Bryan) of York, PA; her grandsons, Simon and Henry Daugherty; and her siblings, Thomas Meckley, Constance Hahn and Tony Meckley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 105 Park St, Hanover, PA 17331.
