He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Groft and Minerva Strausbaugh Groft; his close friend Mary A. Houser; his sons, Nelson, Tobias and Terry Groft; and his siblings, Earl Jr., Dick, Dot and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Houser (Deborah) and Trudy Funke (Charles); his grandchildren, Terry Houser, II (Tilyn), Kirby Houser (Krystal) and Jessica Kump (Chad); and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Chase, Callen Kump and Amelia Houser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
