The memory of Claire L. Rankin of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 21, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman J. Lange and Winifred C. Lange (Schwarz); and her sister Mary Jean Kirk. She is survived by : her husband Carroll S. Rankin, Jr.; her children, Teresa N. Schoenhaar (Steven) of Frankford, DE, Timothy P. Rankin (Pamela) of Clermont, FL and Kathleen M. Murphy (Sean) of Haymarket, VA; her grandchildren, Matt, Kelly, Simon, Sam, Adam, Ben, Dylan, Caitlyn and Aidan; and her brothers, Jay Lange and Jack Lange (Mollie).

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
