She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Uphoff and Catherine Uphoff (Vienna); and her husband Robert A. Schmitt. She is survived by: her children, Denise L. Schmitt of Hanover, PA, Pamela A. Carta of Hanover, PA and Tracey M. Schmitt of Hanover, PA; her grandsons, Joshua A. Turner, Jacob A. Turner, Christopher S. Loudermilk and Nicholas R. Loudermilk; her great grandchildren, Evelyn E. Turner, Reagan R. Turner, Emerson L. Turner, Lucas J. Loudermilk, Addison M. Loudermilk and Camdyn C. Carta; and her sisters, Mary B. Minoglio and Helen F. Patti.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5055 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
