She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Raymond Valentine and Helen Dorthea Valentine; her spouse Francis Frederick "Sarge" Sargent; and her daughter Tammy Sargent-Rose. She is survived by : her son Paul D.; her daughter-in-law Tammy K. Sargent of Manchester; and her grandchildren, Curtis Sargent of Hanover, Heather Sargent of Manchester, Lexxy Sargent of Hanover and Katie Rose of Pasadena, MD..

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
