She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Higgs and Mildred Higgs (Cartzendafner); her sons, Michael Muse and Nicholas Muse; and her siblings, Karl Richard Higgs, Jr. and Deborah Ziemski.
She is survived by: her husband Michael R. Martin; her daughter Ashley Rill (Thomas); her granddaughters, Madi Rill, Amelia Rill, Willow Rill and Saylor Rill; her sisters, Rebecca Ann Quillen (Candace) and Barbara Osborn; and her sibling-in-law Robin Teal. She is also survived by her four granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074).
