With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene F. Smith of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, William, Alfred and Donald Smith; and his parents, Roy Smith and Dora Smith (Zepp).

He is survived by: his wife Rita S. Smith (Staub); his sons, Vincent Smith (Barbara), Tony Smith (Valerie) and Randy Smith (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Adam, Nolan, Erik, Zachary, Ian, Jordan and Lauren; and his siblings, Ramon Smith, Nancy Cole and Margaret Wolford. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
