Geraldine Rita Haines Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Rita Haines of Hanover, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Spindler and Rita Pagano Spindler; her husband Edward Benton "Pye" Haines; and her brother Walter Frank Spindler. She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Ann Abrahamsen (Frank) of Westminster, MD and Stephanie Lynn Haines of Hanover, PA; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Carrie, Brian, Laura and Zachary; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Gavin, Vincent and Sarah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A prayer was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
