Gladys G. Shank Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Gladys G. Shank of Hanover, Pennsylvania. Gladys, born on January 28, 1932, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling J. J. and Sarah E. Gobrecht (Dubs); her husband Daniel Shank; her stepson Terry Shank; and her great grandchild Bekah McClellan.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Buvia, Christine Myers (Mark) and Larry Bixler; her stepsons, Daniel Shank Jr. (Mitch) and Jack Shank (Cindy); and her friends, Sterling, Dean, Pearl Hoff (Gerald), Eileen Becker (Ted) and Allen Gobrecht (Pat). She is also survived by four grandchildren; five step grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
