With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Thomas Merrow Jr. of Hanover, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James Thomas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James Thomas' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Merrow and Helen Merrow (Mahoney); his sons, Tom Merrow and Kyle J. Merrow; and his sister Pat Berg.
He is survived by: his wife Marcie Elizabeth Merrow; his son Ryan P. Merrow of Hanover, PA; and his grandchildren, Bram McAllister Merrow and Jill Elizabeth Merrow.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (5125 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331).
