She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. West and Marrian H. West (Smith). She is survived by: her son Joel Houston (Laura Houston) of Middle River, MD; her grandchildren, Brayelle Houston and Asia Houston; her great grandchildren, Ari Houston, Amiyah Houston, Aaliyah Jones and India Houston; and her brother Darrell McKinnen.
