She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter F. Gilley, and Anna Gilley, Sr. (Hitchcock); and her siblings, Janet Long, Beatrice Fekette, Hunter Gilley, Jr., Richard Gilley, Roy Gene Gilley and Leon Gilley.
She is survived by: her husband James Sheedy, Jr.; her children, Jamie Raleigh (Chester) of Taneytown, MD, Schoen Goodfellow (Kim Jacobson) of Owings Mills, MD and Ed Goodfellow (Terri Peterson) of Jarrettsville, MD; her grandchildren, Skyler Goodfellow, Liliana Raleigh and Logan Raleigh; and her siblings, Ruth Johnson and Randy Gilley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Welcome Home Church in Joan's honor.
