It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John O. Smith Jr. of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John O., Sr. and Roxie Smith (Hagerman); and his siblings, Aloysuis "Joe", Joyce Dubs and Jane Hollingsworth.

He is survived by : his close friend Janice Myers of Hanover; and his siblings, Jay Smith, Sr. of Hanover, Peggy Young of Hanover, Judy Wolf of Hanover, Pamela Smith of Hanover and Carolyn Boyers of McSherrystown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
