With sadness, we share the passing of Kathleen M. Carter of Hanover, Pennsylvania. Kathleen, born on June 13, 1953, passed away on August 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Small Sr. and Rita Hemler Small; her husband Rick Carter; her pet Willy; and her brothers, Frank and Tom Small.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Joan Small; her siblings, Don Small (Denise), Bob Small (Michele), Mary Louise Small and Loraine Yoneda (Shohei); her pet Sammy; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Sweeney, Gina McInturff, Jason, Jeffrey Small and Nick Yoneda. She is also survived by four great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers to family, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Pappus House, 66 Big Mount Road, Thomasville, PA 17364, a hospice facility that surrounded Katie with love and beauty in her last days and allowed her to pass on with the dignity she so deserved.
