With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Owen V. Walsh of Hanover, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Owen left this world on July 29, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Walsh and Katherine Walsh (Loughnane); his granddaughter Emily; and his sisters, Joan Venuti and Marie Conley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise (Van Meers); his children, Ann Marie Walsh, David I. Walsh (Lisa), Matthew J. Walsh (Natalie) and Carol Hobbs (Chris); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Ashley, Julia, Michael, Madison, Mary, Reagan, Courtney and Logan; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Olivia and Sophia Grace; and his brother David I. Walsh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5055 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice Program of the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
