He was predeceased by: his wife Linda A. Rummel (Duncan); his parents, Ralph E. Rummel Sr. and Pauline M. Rummel (Small) of Hanover; his brother Harry Rummel; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Storm, Peggy Rummel and Lucinda Rummel.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Brenneman (Brian) of Hanover, Jeffrey Rummel (Dawn) of Hanover and Michael Rummel (Tina); his grandchildren, Alisha Renz (Robert), Daniel Brenneman (Katy), Joshua Rummel (April), Jesse Rummel, Amanda Rummel, Mason and Logan Rummel; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Leila Renz, Tanner Brenneman, Maverick Rummel and Baby Brenneman; his siblings, Jean (Storm), Miller (Syndey) of Hanover, Melvin Rummel (Tina) of Washington, Nancy Kennedy (Scott) of Hanover, Irene Wagner (Dan) of Gettysburg and Kenneth Rummel of Hanover; and his siblings-in-law, Henry and Caroline Duncan of Abbottstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
