He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Eugene and Ruth Elizabeth Howe (Snyder). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia (Sweigart); his children, Elizabeth A. Howe, Sarah K. Rodenburgh (Howe), Jeffrey R. Howe and Andrew R. Howe; his grandchildren, Heidi Rodenburgh and Henry Howe; and his brother John S. Howe.
