Robert West Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Robert West of Hanover, Pennsylvania is shared. Robert, born on July 12, 1954 in Taneytown, Maryland, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion West and Samuel West. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Smith); his children, Jason and Heather; his grandson Tayvin; and his brothers, Tom and Jim (Virginia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Taneytown Activities Building (49 Memorial Dr, Taneytown, MD 21787).
