He is survived by: his wife Verna C. Smith (Powers); his sons, Roy W. "Wally" Smith, Jr. (Müge) of Milwaukee, WI, Timothy M. Smith (Mimi) of Arvada, CO, Andrew K. Smith (Kristen) of Bel Air, MD and Bruce D. Smith (Kristen) of San Jose, CA.; his sister Wilma Jean Withers of Point Pleasant, WV; and his grandchildren, Brendan Smith, Corinne Smith, Greta Smith and Nate Smith.
