She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Earl Dietz and Beulah Marie Harris; her husband Donald B. Hess; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Dietz, Loretta "Rett" Reed, Edward "Sonny" Dietz, William (Dietz), Marie Follett, Joyce "Joy" Harman and Evelyn "Susie" Bosley.
She is survived by: her children, Donald T. Hess of York and Stephanie M. Brennan (Ted) of Keedysville, MD; and her brothers, Butch and Donnie Dietz. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
