He was predeceased by: his father Richard Schmelyun, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Schmelyun (Flanagan); his son Broc Schmelyun; and his siblings, Donna Southard (Matt), Richard Schmelyun, Jr. (Rhonda), Sherri Rose and Lee Schmelyun (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1406 (105 Park St, Hanover, PA 17331).
