She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Virtz, Sr. and Sandra K. Robertson (Hammrick); and her husband Steven R. Markle. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer A. (Wayne Karcher) and Melissa (Garth Knoch); her grandchildren, Stetson, Lane, Saige, Fletcher and Stevie; her stepchildren, Payne Baust (Amy) and Madison Baust; her stepgrandchildren, Farrah and Cora; her brother Paul J.; her sister-in-law Cathy Virtz of Westminster; her half-sister Christina Peifer (Jason) of Dover, PA; her stepmother Sue Virtz of Palm Coast, FL; her nephew Danny Baust of Hanover; John Rudolph.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
