She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Mathias and Alverta M. Mathias (Myers); her husband Richard E. Matthews; and her siblings, Madeline Price, John Mathias, Ella Pascoe and Evelyn McGurk.
She is survived by: her son David W. Matthews of Hanover, PA; and her granddaughter Lisa Weaver of New Oxford, PA..
