He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil E. Loss and Lottie Loss (Baughman); his wife Margaret D. Loss (Reichart); his daughter Kristie L. Loss; and his sister Doris Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Michael D. Loss (Patricia) of Hanover, PA, David E. Loss (Brenda) of Hanover, PA and Tina L. Groft (Steve) of Hanover, PA; and his grandchildren, Melissa Jacobs, Jill Loss Baughman, Christopher Loss, Jason Loss, Jennifer Loss, Justin Lawrence, Tyler Lawrence, Sara Lawrence Haring, Daniel Herfel, Rachael Groft and Steven Groft, Jr.. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (127 York St, Hanover, PA 17331).
